ABOUT US

Dr. Tscherne is a Clinical Psychologist who has over 16 years of experience in the field of Psychology. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of William & Mary, Dr. Tscherne earned his Master of Arts in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from La Salle University, and went on to earn his Doctor Of Psychology (Psy.D) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Tscherne has a wealth of experience working with individuals who have sex offenses, who struggle with sex addiction, who exhibit problematic sexual behavior, who struggle with addiction, of any kind, and who are otherwise involved in the criminal justice system.

Dr. Tscherne currently oversees 7 mental health departments within the New Jersey Department of Corrections, and provides statewide clinical coverage and leadership. He also consults weekly and provides clinical services to the New Jersey Probation Sex Offender Management Unit, as well as the New Jersey Parole Supervision for Life Program. Dr. Tscherne has worked in private practice providing Forensic Evaluations, full psychological batteries, firearms evaluations, and risk assessments for both individuals with sex offenses, and those at risk for future violence.
